Day 3

When we arrived at camp it looked like we needed to start building a boat... but before the day was over we had enough sun to go outside and play.

We started off our rainy morning with a lot of singing. We're getting better at our new three part harmony/round extravaganza and we brought back some oldies (but goodies!) like the llama song and Mountain Dew.

Then we refreshed our memories with a homesteader's name game before we got introduced to all of the peeps who have showed up to live in Petrichore. We met scientists and gods and rock peeps and ghosts and forgetful peeps and peeps who couldn't talk. It was awesome. Check out the "Peeps" tab at the top of the page to learn more about everyone.

We got a break in the rain before lunch and played some slippery capture the flag. Mud was spilt but it was worth it for a chance to stretch our legs.

Peeps got a chance to apply for some federal job positions and move forward with house designs. Then we all built primitive shelters in out mini acres. Hope everyone's staying safe out there tonight, their first night on the land!

Finally we arrived at a moment of truth. What form of government was going to rein over Petrichore? Democracy? Plutocracy? Chickenocracy?!?? Final answer: none of the above. Welcome to a state of anarchy. Again. Hmm.... what will this mean for our emerging village? Hard to say. So far the new change in government has caused a shift in priorities for some villagers, not sure where to put their efforts in a new and unstable world.

Before we new it, it was time to leave anarchy behind for a bit and CORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...VVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. We cleaned up, put our peeps on the land, and had time for a couple of games before finishing out day with plusses and wishes.
